Atrium-Wake Forest Baptist begins charging copay for telehealth

We received information today that Atrium-Wake Forest Baptist benefits began processing telehealth services using the same regular co-pays/co-insurance as an in-person behavioral health visit. This is a change from their prior benefits where the co-pay was waived.

We have also been assured that claims that were already processed without a co-pay will NOT be reprocessed to include the co-pay. Claims for dates of service in 2025 that have not yet been processed will be adjudicated minus the co-pay.
